Nationwide painting to end the practice of chhaupadi

Kathmandu. A nationwide painting competition related to Chhaupadi is going to be held in Achham. The competition is being organized by the District Administration Office, Achham.

According to the District Administration Office, Achham, a nationwide painting competition is being held to end the practice of Chhaupadi, child marriage and caste discrimination in the society. The first place winner will be awarded Rs 40,000, second place winner Rs 30,000 and third place winner Rs 20,000.

The picture depicting Chhaupadi practice, child marriage and caste discrimination should be sent to the email of the District Administration Office at [email protected] by the 18th of Falgun.
