Pfizer vaccine 95.8% effective

JERUSALEM. Israel’s health ministry says the Pfizer vaccine against the corona virus is about 96 percent effective. In Israel, the government is conducting a massive vaccination campaign.

Israel’s vaccination campaign is the fastest in the world. The ministry said the first dose had been given to 42 lakh 50 thousand people in Israel since December.

According to the ministry, about 28 lakh 80 thousand people have been vaccinated with two doses.

According to the ministry, research on vaccinated people has shown that the vaccine is about 95.8 percent effective. The Pfizer vaccine was found to be 99.2 percent effective for critically ill people and 98.9 percent effective in preventing mortality.
