71st Democracy Day in Photo [Photo Feature]

Kathmandu. Democracy Day is celebrated on Friday with various programs across the country.

The government has been celebrating Democracy Day on 7th of Falgun to commemorate the day democracy was declared in the country by ending the Jahaniya Rana rule.

Democracy is based on democracy and a federal democratic republican system of governance has been established in the country.

On the occasion of Democracy Day, Democracy Day has been celebrated with a special program at Sainik Manch Tundikhel in Kathmandu. Prominent personalities including President Bidyha Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma, Oli, Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota and National Assembly Speaker Ganesh Timilsina were present on the occasion.

On this occasion, the army also increased the number of cannons and guns and paid homage to the martyrs who achieved martyrdom for the sake of democracy.
