Financial assistance to child charioteers by Mahalakshmi Development Bank
Kathmandu. Mahalakshmi Development Bank, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-8, a financial assistance of Rs. 500,000 has been provided to a child charioteer in Jaya Bageshwari for the construction of a school building.
The bank has been providing assistance to the organization which has been providing education opportunities to orphans and poor children with the objective of preparing good, virtuous and responsible citizens towards the nation. During a function at Bal Sarathi’s office on Thursday, Dipanjali Khakurel, head of the bank’s market management department, handed over a check for the same amount to Asmita Sumargi, chairperson of the organization.
On the occasion, Khakurel also provided financial literacy training to the children studying in the institute.
The bank, which has been providing services through 103 branches across the country, has committed to continue its effective programs under social responsibility in the days to come.
