Prime Minister Oli going to the Supreme Court
Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is going to the Supreme Court to give a written reply on the issue of contempt. According to Press Advisor Surya Thapa, Oli is scheduled to go to the Supreme Court after 11 o’clock with a written reply.
Senior Advocate Kumar Sharma Acharya and Advocate Kanchan Kumar Neupane had filed a writ petition alleging contempt of court over the issue of dissolution of the House of Representatives and senior advocate Krishna Prasad Bhandari.
Hearing the contempt case against Oli, Judge Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma’s single bench had ordered to file a written reply on Magh 15. Oli had reached the deadline on the issue last Sunday. As per the provision of giving written reply within seven days of understanding the deadline, he is going to the court with the reply.
