Tundikhel will be surrounded by human chains

Kathmandu. The CPN-Prachanda-Nepal group is encircling Tundikhel with human chains. As part of the fourth phase of the agitation against the dissolution of the House of Representatives, the group will hold a one-hour human chain from 4 pm today.

Yogesh Bhattarai, co-coordinator of the Central Struggle Committee, said that they will form a human chain around Tundikhel in the afternoon to protest against regression, high prices and corruption. According to him, around 10,000 cadres will participate in the program.

According to the group, district-level protests and rallies will be held in all the districts from Falgun 5 to 12 under the fourth phase of the agitation.

The CPN (Maoist) has split after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli decided to dissolve the House of Representatives and go for mid-term elections on Poush 5. The Oli group and Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal groups have been sharply criticizing each other.
