Infrastructure Development Bank to assist in project development of State1
Kathmandu. Nepal Infrastructure Bank is going to invest in the infrastructure development of State No. 1. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Public Private Partnership and Investment Authority and the bank on Tuesday on cooperation in project development and implementation for the infrastructure development of State 1 under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
Ram Krishna Khatiwada, Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, said that the agreement was signed for the identification of potential infrastructure projects in State 1, financial and technical analysis and preparation of plans for project development, marketing of the project and selection of developer company, management of equity and loan investment. Told the news. On behalf of the bank, CEO Khatiwada and Director of Public Private Partnership and Investment Authority of State 1 Dr. Saroj Koirala signed.
The understanding program was held in the presence of the Chief Minister of State 1, Sherdhan Rai. Koirala said that a preliminary study of the possible projects of State 1 including Koshi Refreshment Center, Electric Bus Project, Udayapur Cement Revitalization Project, Bima Bamboo Project has already been done.
