Congress Demonstrating across the country
Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress is holding protests and rallies in all 77 districts. Congress is going to protest in all districts today against KP Oli’s move to dissolve the parliament.
Congress has been demanding that the decision be rectified, calling the dissolution of parliament unconstitutional and undemocratic. Top leaders will address the protest rally after the demonstration. As per the pre-arranged schedule, Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba will address the meeting to be held in Butwal.
Similarly, senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel and Joint General Minister Prakash Saran Mahat Dhading, Deputy Chairman Bimalendra Nidhi Saptari and General Minister Shashank Koirala will address the meeting. Leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula from Jhapa, Prakashman Singh from Pokhara, Dr. Shekhar Koirala from Dharan, Arjun Narasimha KC from Kathmandu, Dr. Minendra Rijalle Pyuthan, Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat is scheduled to address the Kavre assembly.
Similarly, spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma will address the protest rally in Lalitpur, Gagan Thapa in Chitwan and Pradip Poudel in Dailekh. Congress has been agitating against the government’s move since Poush 5. Chairman Deuba has appealed to make today’s demonstration a success by participating from house to house.
