14 killed in bus-truck collision

Kathmandu. At least 14 people have been killed when a bus and a truck collided in Andhra Pradesh, India. The accident took place at Madarpur village of Kurnool district at around 4 AM in the morning.

Eight women, five men, including the driver, and a child were killed in the accident, according to the Indian Daily Dainik Bhaskar. All of them were going on a pilgrimage to Ajmer from a place called Madanapalle in Chittoor district.

Four persons have been injured in the accident. The condition of two of them is critical. The bus collided with a truck in front of it when it was traveling on the wrong side.
