India has provided 22 million doses of vaccine worldwide
New Delhi. India, which has developed a vaccine against the corona virus, has provided more than 2 Crore 29 Lakh vaccines to the world community.
According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs on Friday, India has provided more than 2 Crore 29 Lakh 70 Thousand vaccines to various countries. “To date, India has provided more than 2 Crore 29 Lakh 70 Thousand vaccines to the world community,” said Anurag Srivastava, a spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs.
According to him, out of the total vaccinations given to the world community, about 64 lakh 70 thousand vaccines have been distributed free of cost and One Crore Sixty Five Lakh vaccines have been provided with financial transactions. Spokesperson Srivastava said that India plans to provide vaccines to other demanding countries in the coming days as well.
He said India wanted to provide vaccines to countries in the region, including Africa, Latin America and the Pacific Islands. In India, a vaccine called Covishield has been developed against the corona virus. This vaccine is one of the most widely used vaccines in the world. – ANI
