Giving best wishes and calling for agitation
Kathmandu. Opposition CPN (Maoist) presidents Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal have called on the Tamang and Sherpa communities to agitate. The two presidents made the call while wishing good luck to Sonam Lhosar of the Tamang community and Gyalbo Lhosar of the Sherpa community on Friday.
Stating that Dahal-Nepal was trying to frustrate the rights of the Tamang-Sherpa community, he reminded that there was no alternative to agitating against the unconstitutional move.
Stating that the government has recently launched a vicious attempt to stifle the fundamental rights of the oppressed people of different castes, regions and genders, Dahal-Nepal said, “There is no alternative but to join the movement against the unconstitutional move of dissolving the House of Representatives to protect the rights of thousands of people.”
President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Oli have been sharply criticized after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s recommendation to dissolve the House of Representatives was received from Sheetal Niwas in the last five years.
