Kathmandu. A massive civil movement is going to hold a march against rape in Kathmandu on Friday. A ‘Singha Durbar Women’s March’ will be held to protest the ongoing incidents of rape.

A massive civil movement has stated that they will gather in Basantapur at 2 pm on Friday and march to the main gate of Singha Durbar. On behalf of the civil movement, Mohana Ansari, Archana Thapa, Rita Pariyar and others have said that the government has remained silent in the ongoing rape cases and has challenged the rapists from the streets.

‘From Maina Sunuwar to Nirmala Pant, from Angira Pasi to Bhagarathi Bhatta – this trend should be stopped forever. All victims should receive justice, “the appeal said.” No criminal or rapist should be acquitted under the patriarchal law and power. Our house, constitution, law, institution must all be changed now. ‘
