NIC brings ‘Valentine’s Day’ special plan
Kathmandu. NIC Asia Bank has unveiled a plan called ‘Celebrate Love with NIC Asia Bank’ for Valentine’s Day.
According to the plan, the bank will target digital banking through mobile banking, debit or credit card, QR payment and IGP gateway channels. Under this, 20 lucky customers doing business through digital channel will be given an attractive opportunity to have dinner on Valentine’s Day at the best star hotel in Nepal.
The scheme, which will be operational from Magh 28 to Falgun 1, will be able to scan QR codes through mobile banking services, pay various household bills through digital channels, pay through debit or credit cards through POS and transact through e-commerce. The lucky customers will be included for dinner through round robin, the bank said.
The bank has stated that only customers who do more than 500 transactions during the plan period will be included in the round. Also, customers who trade more than that amount will have a higher chance of winning.
The bank has stated that attractive dinners will be arranged at the nearest star to select the winner from any part of the country outside Kathmandu. The bank has also arranged more attractive gifts for 1/1 people who do most transactions through 4 channels.
Similarly, targeting new customers, the bank plans to provide 100 mobile top-ups to the first 100 people who make their first transactions through digital channels during the plan period.
The bank has stated that wallet load, transfer of money to other bank or other account of the same bank is not included in the scheme. The bank is confident that the scheme will help in attracting customers from physical transactions to digital transactions.
