Prachanda-Nepal group demonstrating power in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Pro-opposition demonstrations after the dissolution of the House of Representatives have disrupted traffic management in Kathmandu. Traffic has been disrupted since the road was used for demonstrations and rallies.

The traffic management of Kathmandu Valley has been disrupted since this morning. The reason is the protest of the CPN-Prachanda-Nepal group. The group is holding a protest rally from different places after 11 o’clock. That is why the traffic inside the Chakrapath will be affected. The group is in a phased agitation against the dissolution of the House of Representatives by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Thus, the traffic on all three sides and around Tundikhel will be completely affected after the meeting is being held by closing the main road of Ratna Park Bhadrakali road section. The Traffic Police Department has suggested using alternative routes for traffic at rallies, processions and public meetings.

Demonstrations led by various leaders will be taken out from Pulchowk, Tripureshwor, Maitighar, Keshar Mahal and Jamal.
