Earthquake centered on Olangchungola

Taplejung. The epicenter was reported at Faktanglung Village Municipality-7, Olangchungola of Taplejung district this morning.

According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, Kathmandu, a magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck at 7.35 am. The epicenter was reported below the Olangchunggola border between Nepal and China.

The quake affected Taplejung district headquarters, locals said. The quake did not cause any damage in Olangchungola.
