Prime Minister Oli on his way to the Election Commission
Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is going to the Election Commission office in Kantipath. Prime Minister Oli is going to the Election Commission this morning to discuss election preparations and disputes within his party.
Though the agenda of the discussion has not been decided yet, Prime Minister Subash Chandra Nemwang will go to the commission at 11 am to understand the election preparations, informed Makalu Khabar. According to him, the Prime Minister will draw the attention of the commission to the election program and other issues.
The commission had earlier summoned both the top leaders of the CPN (Maoist) for talks but both the groups had sent only their representatives. Soon after, leaders including Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Nepal reached the commission to claim the party’s legitimacy. Prime Minister Oli, on the other hand, has not gone to the commission since the dispute started in the party.
