Karki said that the aim was to go to play snow in Rara to highlight the tourism sector in Karnali and to promote tourism in Karnali.

Rara is the largest lake in Nepal. The lake, which falls within the Rara National Park, is a major choice for domestic tourists. But during the winter, there was not much activity in Rara in the past. But since last year, the number of domestic tourists visiting Rara has increased significantly even during the winter.
