If the arrears are not paid, these 11 airlines will be blacklisted

Kathmandu. The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has given an opportunity to 11 airlines to pay the airport arrears. Despite repeated reminders, the 11 airlines that did not pay the amount due to the Tribhuvan International Airport Office have been given another 30 days.

The NEA has published a public notice asking them to pay their dues within 30 days and the delay fee as per the rules. Nikon Air, Shivani Air, Alpine Air, Gorkha Air, Karnali Air, Mountain Airlines, Cosmic Air, Sangrila Air, Skyline Airways, Air Kasthamandap and Nepal Airways have been given 30 days to pay the fee. Currently these airlines are not in operation.

If the amount is not paid within the stipulated time, it will be blacklisted in the future as per sub-rule 3 of rule 30 of the Airport Service Charges Regulation 2076, so that it will not be allowed to participate in any work related to air service, airport and NEA in future.
