Chandragiri’s share first trading price 161, many to hold

Kathmandu. The primary share of Chandragiri Hills Limited has got an opening price of Rs 161 per share in the secondary market. Shares of the company, which was listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Friday, have been trading in the secondary market since Sunday.

A total of 30 shares of the company were traded on Sunday. 20 lots were bought and sold at the rate of Rs 161 and 10 lots at the rate of Rs 164. Despite the demand to buy more than 1.3 million shares of the company, there are no sellers.

Nepse had set an opening range of Rs 96 to Rs 290 for the company’s shares in the secondary market. As the company’s net worth was Rs 96, the price was set at three times that net worth.

Nepse had listed 15.34 million 910 shares of the company on Friday. The company had sold 1.84 million shares to the locals and the general public.

Out of that, 1.396 million shares were sold to the public. The remaining shares were allocated to employees and collective investment funds.
