Four killed, 43 injured in Nigeria road accident

Abuja. Four people were killed and 43 others were injured in a road accident in Nigeria’s southwestern state of Oyo on Wednesday, government officials said on Thursday.

The accident happened on the Oyo-Ogbomosho Highway. The incident took place when a truck carrying people and animals fell into a ditch from the road.

At least 14 people have been rescued in the accident. Police have launched an investigation into the accident.
