Kathmandu. Leaders and cadres of the CPN (Prachanda-Nepal) have taken to the streets to make the general strike a success. They have partially closed open shops and banned traffic on the streets.

At the same time, public and private vehicles are not running as usual. The limited number of public transport vehicles are carrying passengers who have to reach their destination due to special work. The protesters are also obstructing the vehicles.
