Lack of medicine in Narayani Ayurveda dispensary
Bagmati. There is shortage of medicine in Narayani Ayurveda dispensary. Lately, Ayurvedic medicine has been considered very useful for enhancing the immune system. In addition, despite the increase in the number of patients seeking treatment, the lack of medicines has affected health services.
The number of people seeking treatment and consultation in dispensaries is increasing day by day. Chief of the dispensary, Dr. Shristi Shrestha, said that the medicine could not be provided to the service recipients as per the need. She complained that the dispensary under the Ministry of Social Development of Bagmati lacks the necessary medicine, manpower and budget.
The use of ayurvedic medicine in the treatment and prevention of corona has increased the public’s interest in dispensaries. Senior Ayurveda doctor Shrestha claims that more service seekers are coming than in the past.
Three thousand 711 people have availed health services in the dispensary from Shrawan to Mangshir of the current fiscal year as compared to two thousand 998 in the same period last year.
