Protest rally of Prachanda-Nepal group in Biratnagar

Kathmandu. CPN-Prachanda’s Prachanda-Nepal group is holding a protest rally in Biratnagar. The group, which staged a huge protest in Butwal on Thursday against the dissolution of the House of Representatives, is going to hold a rally in Biratnagar today.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal will address the meeting in Biratnagar. After Biratnagar, the Dahal-Nepal group has organized a protest rally in Dhangadhi tomorrow. The group is also holding a sit-in at Maitighar in Kathmandu.

The CPN (Maoist) has become divided after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli decided to dissolve the House of Representatives and go for mid-term elections on Poush 5. The Oli group and the Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and Madhav Kumar Nepal groups have been sharply criticizing each other.
