‘Cinema dialogue’ completed in Ghandruk
Kathmandu. Cinema Dialogue at Ghandruk program has been completed in Ghandruk village of Kaski Annapurna Municipality. In the program organized by the Kaski branch of the Film Journalists Association of Nepal on Tuesday, discussions were held on ‘Cinema Tourism: Relationships and Possibilities’ and ‘Cinema Literary Relationships and Partnerships’.
The first session of the discussion was facilitated by Nepali Film Director Sudarshan Thapa, Pokhara Tourism Council Chairman Gopi Bhattarai and journalist Basu Mishra.
In the second session ‘Cinema Literature: Relationships and Partnerships’ a similar topic was discussed. Speakers at the session included artist Deepak Raj Giri, writer Ganesh Poudel, poet Bhushita Bashishta and facilitator Dinesh DC. Facilitator DC asked the speakers about the experience of reviewing films based on literary works.
Concluding the program, Arun Giri, president of Kaski Film Journalists’ Association, said that the program was organized to promote the tourism and film sector after a long hiatus. The program was held at Gurung Cottage in Ghandruk. Welcoming remarks were made by Kisam Gurung and operations secretary Prabhu Adhikari.
The cinema dialogue program was organized by Gandaki Pradesh Government, Annapurna Village Municipality, Nepal Tourism Board, Esewa, Kuti Resort and Spa, Annapurna Conservation Area Project, Tourism Management Committee Ghandruk, Parichay Advertising, Gurung Film Shirsuba, Amrit Lama Foundation Ghandruk, Original Mother Group Ghandruk and Danda Gaon. The young family was assisted by Ghandruk.
