Business cooperation between Himalayan Airlines and Yeti Airlines
Kathmandu. Himalayan Airlines and Yeti Airlines have a strategic business partnership. The first agreement for the effective implementation of the Application Programming Interface (API) was signed by the representatives of the two companies at an event held on Wednesday.
Himalayan Airlines and Yeti Airlines have partnered for network integration, expansion of sales growth and gradual expansion of e-commerce capabilities of both the companies.
Himalayan Airlines is currently operating international flights to various destinations in the Middle East and South Asia, while Yeti Airlines has been expanding its network across Nepal and operating regular flights to various domestic destinations.
According to the agreement, the two airlines will issue their own tickets, add new services, simplify passenger purchases and make their services easily available on each other’s websites.
However, it will take some time to implement as the necessary technical procedures are yet to be completed. Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of Himalayan Airlines, Bijay Shrestha, said that the cooperation between the two airlines was the first step towards a strategic business partnership between Himalaya and Yeti. “Our partnership will be important to find new ways to expand the business, to grow the business,” he said. He said that this cooperation would help in increasing the revenue by increasing the business.
Anoj Rimal, Chief Executive Officer of Yeti Airlines, said that he was happy and excited to have Himalaya Airlines as a partner. He said the collaboration had sent a positive message to the business community.
Chief Executive Officer Rimal said that the agreement would bring additional benefits to the passengers of both the airlines. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to partner with Himalayan Airlines to expand our network,” Rimal said.
