13th Annual General Meeting of Jyoti Development Bank Concluded
Kathmandu. The 13th annual general meeting of Jyoti Development Bank was held on Wednesday. The General Assembly was held through a virtual conference at the Army Officers Club in Bhadrakali under the chairmanship of Harichandra Khadka, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank.
The General Assembly passed the annual report of the bank for the fiscal year 2076/77 and also passed the proposal to pay 10 percent bonus share dividend of the existing paid up capital to the shareholders as proposed by the board of directors of the bank.
Similarly, the bank’s paid-up capital has reached Rs. 3 billion 84 crore 48 lakh 23 thousand after passing 10 percent bonus shares.
The Annual General Meeting of the Bank has approved the report of the Board of Directors for the Fiscal Year 2076/77, the report of the Auditor and the annual financial statements up to mid-Ashad 2077 BS.
In addition, the General Assembly has unopposed elected Hari Prasad, Harichandra Khadka, Santosh Adhikari and Naresh Raj Acharya and Dhruv Koirala as the Board of Directors of Jyoti Development Bank for the next four years.
The bank is currently providing services through 105 branch offices, 1 extension counter and 61 ATMs. So far, the bank has managed to raise around Rs 46 billion in deposits from more than 300,000 accounts and invest around Rs 37 billion in more than 23,000 borrowers.
