Father arrested for killing 2-year-old daughter

Kathmandu. Three people from two districts have been arrested in the murder case.

Santosh Ghimire, age 24 of Jhirra in Shitganga Municipality-2 has been arrested by the police on Tuesday afternoon on charge of killing his own 2-year-old daughter in Arghakhanchi. According to the Area Police Office, Thada, Ghimire killed his own daughter while no one was at home.

Similarly, police have arrested three persons on charge of killing Amrit Singh, 27, of Chhabispathibhera Gaonpalika-3 of Bajhang with a sharp weapon. Among the arrested are Gyan Bahadur Kadayat, age 32, Prakash Adi, age 32, and KedarMan Adi, age 40, of Chhabispathibhara village municipality-2.

Kadayat was arrested on Tuesday and Prakash and Kedarman on Wednesday morning. The injured died at the District Hospital, Bajhang. Police said that the incident was being investigated.
