Kathmandu. UCPN (Maoist) Vice-Chairman Bamdev Gautam said that the CPN (Maoist) has split in politics and practice. Speaking at a press conference organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday morning to announce the ‘Unity National Campaign’, Vice President Gautam said this.

Stating that the CPN (Maoist) has split politically but not legally, Vice-Chairman Gautam said, “I am an eyewitness of this division. The party, which reached the point of forming a government with a two-thirds majority in the election, would have grown in unity. The party broke up when people from all over the world were happy to see socialism based on the new features of our country. ‘

Stating that he was saddened to see the united party split after 13 years of hard work, Vice-Chairman Gautam said, Our party leaders split the party, realizing that the power of construction is greater than unity. ‘

Recalling that there were two clearly different views that the top leadership should go to the polls and the parliament should be reconstituted, Gautam said that both the CPN (Maoist) would be defeated if the elections were held in May. “One side says it will get a majority,” said Vice President Gautam. In the last election, there was a big wave in favor of the CPN (Maoist). The total number of votes we got from the two parties was 4.3 million. ‘

Meanwhile, Vice-Chairman Gautam said that in the current situation, both the parties would definitely lose the election. “Everyone’s vote may have increased at that time, but in the current situation, if we go to the polls, both groups are sure to lose,” said Gautam. But that is completely wrong. ‘

Gautam also compared himself to saying that he would bring a majority by splitting. He recalled that he had won a single seat in 2054 BS when the UML split and formed the Malay Party. However, my party, the CPN-Malay, which broke away from the UML, could not win a single seat from across the country.
