Vaccination campaign against corona in Nepal from today
Kathmandu. A vaccination campaign against Covid-19 is being conducted in Nepal from today. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the virtual vaccination campaign at 10 am.
During the inauguration, Shukraraj Tropical and Communicable Diseases Hospital, Bir Hospital, Ayurveda Research and Training Center Hospital, Kirtipur, Patan Hospital, Philanthropic Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Trivi Teaching Hospital, Bhaktapur Hospital, Martyr Devotee Organ Transplant Center, Kathmandu Medical College, Jorpati, Physicians / health workers of Armed Police Hospital, Balambu, Martyr Ganga Lal Hospital will be vaccinated at once.
In the first phase, 430,000 people on the front lines for the prevention of corona epidemic will be vaccinated, according to the Ministry of Health. For that, more than 120 vaccination centers have been identified. Under the first phase of the vaccination campaign, health workers, cleaners, ambulance drivers, hearses, security personnel and other people above 18 years of age are being vaccinated across the country.
The government is going to launch a vaccination campaign after India provided one million doses of vaccine to Nepal as a grant aid.
