Memorandum of Understanding between Global IME and Bhandara Dairy Cooperative

Kathmandu. An agreement has been reached between Global IME Bank and Bhandara Milk Producers’ Cooperative Society to increase the access of small farmers to agricultural subsidy loans.

The MoU has been signed by Bidur Gyawali, Deputy Chief of Bagmati Regional Office and Dilli Prasad Thapaliya, Chairman of Bhandara Milk Producers Cooperative.

As per the agreement, Global IME Bank will provide concessional loans to farmers engaged in goat rearing, dairy, vegetable farming, poultry rearing, marmot rearing, fishing and fruit production in different places of Chitwan including Bhandara on the recommendation of local cooperatives. Bhandara Dairy Cooperative Society will arrange necessary training for small farmers on the recommendation of the bank.
