Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has asked Nepal Credit and Commerce (NCC) Bank for clarification. NEPSE sought an explanation, saying the bank’s share price had risen abnormally in Sunday’s market and that buyer pressure was also unnatural.

Shares of the bank, which had been trading with natural fluctuations till January 25, had risen unnaturally on Sunday.

Nepse has sent a letter to the bank within three days informing the bank of any decision affecting the share price. Shares of the bank, which traded at Rs 331 per share on January 26, rose by Rs 33 to Rs 364 on Sunday. This is an increase of about 10 percent.
