Demonstration in Baluwatar, activists including Krishna Pahadi arrested

Kathmandu. Niwas further demonstrate that human rights and peace organizations organized by Krishna Pahadi and demonstrators are controlled by police.

Today (Monday), human rights activists affiliated with the organization staged a demonstration in Baluwatar, chanting slogans against the unconstitutional move of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli (dissolution of the House of Representatives).

They were arrested by the police intervened in a peaceful demonstration. Among those arrested are founder Pahadi, chairman Uttam Pudasaini, founding member Krishna Kandel and secretary Bal Bahadur Gaha Magar.
