I am walking with a new kidney: Prime Minister Oli
Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he is a person with a slight disability.
This was stated by PM Oli at an interaction program with persons with disabilities held at the National Assembly House today (Sunday). “I am also a person with a slight disability. I also have kidney failure and have other people’s kidneys. I am a person who is walking in a wheel chair with other people’s kidneys, ‘he said in the program-‘ That kidney also failed. Then I put another kidney and walk on the new kidney. The eyes are also weak, this is also a disability. ‘
He says that he is moving forward with the confidence that he can work, live and move forward even after changing his kidney. “It simply came to our notice then. There is probably no prime minister in the world who has had two kidney transplants, “he said.” Even if two kidney transplants are done, there are elements who are trying to ruin the country, harm the people, anti-democracy and try to rule the people out of fear.
Speaking on the occasion, PM Oli said that the government would provide employment to the persons with disabilities as per their capacity and help them to become self-employed.
He also claimed that a country free of street children has been created. He said, “Yesterday there were children in the streets, who were insulted by the name of Khate.” Today, no Nepali’s children have to listen to the account. We do not allow Nepali children to have an account. That is the duty of the government. There are no accounts on the road now. ‘
He also said that the government would protect street children and street human beings without any discrimination.
