Agreement between 6 agencies to pay tax from mobile

Kathmandu. An agreement has been reached between six agencies to pay taxes through Rastriya Banijya Bank through mobile banking. An agreement has been signed between Rastriya Banijya Bank, Nepal Clearing House, Khalti, IME Pay, Prabhu Pay and Nepal Pay.

After this agreement, the taxpayers will be able to easily pay VAT, property tax, business tax and other service charges of any revenue office under the Inland Revenue Department through mobile banking. Similarly, any other tax and revenue remitted through Rastriya Banijya Bank can also be paid from it.

The agreement was signed by Devesh Prasad Lohani, Deputy Executive Officer of Rastriya Banijya Bank, Munni Rajbhandari, Chief Operating Officer of Nepal Clearing House, Anmol Ratriya, Product Development Manager of Khalti, Amod Bhattarai, Head of Business Development, IME Peka, Kusum Lama, Managing Director of Prabhu Peka and Malika Bhattarai, Chief Operating Officer of Nepal Peka.
