Army and police clash at the inauguration of women’s football
Kathmandu. Women’s National Football League is starting from today. In today’s inaugural match, two departmental teams Tribhuvan Army Club and Nepal Police Club are playing.
The game will be played at Dasharath Stadium at 2 pm. The other games after the inauguration will be played at Satdobato, ANFA. ANFA has given free admission to the spectators to watch the inaugural game of the Women’s League. Seven teams will participate in the women’s league, which is being organized on the basis of double round robin for the first time.
This time, the participating teams in the women’s league will be able to have 4 foreign players. The winning team of the competition will get Rs 1 million, second place winner will get Rs 800,000, third place winner will get Rs 500,000 and fourth place winner will get Rs 300,000, according to ANFA. According to ANFA, the best player of the competition will get a scooter and the departmental best player will get Rs 50,000 each.
