India Biotech warns: Such people should not be vaccinated

Earlier this month, India Biotech’s Covaxin and Serum’s Covishield were allowed emergency use. Meanwhile, Bharat Biotech has issued a fact page warning people not to vaccinate, according to Indian media daily Bhaskar.

The Vaccine Facts page recommends that pregnant or breastfeeding women not be vaccinated. People with allergies, fevers, and bleeding disorders are also advised not to be vaccinated. In addition, critically ill patients are advised not to eat.

The company said it was in the third phase of testing and its effectiveness had not yet been fully verified. The study of the data of the clinical trial of the third phase of the trial is underway. The company has also stated that Corona should not be left to take precautions just because he/she had vaccinated.

The company has also requested to inform the immunization center or immunization officer about their health condition before getting vaccinated. According to Bharat Biotech, the vaccine will boost immunity after two doses given in four weeks. Covaxin has also been allowed to be banned in case of emergency.

The vaccine is a vaccine produced in India, developed in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research and the National Institute of Virology.
