16-year-old girl dies of AIDS, brother also infected

Saptari. A teenage girl has died of HIV / AIDS in Rajbiraj of Saptari district on Sunday evening. Amaiya Dhami, 16, of Chanaura, Rajbiraj Municipality-1, died while undergoing treatment at the local Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital. Ranjit Jha informed.

The girl was admitted to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital two weeks ago after her health condition deteriorated. The medical superintendent of the hospital said that the daughter who lost her parents to HIV AIDS nine years ago also died due to the same reason. Jha explained.

According to him, three days after the death of his mother from HIV / AIDS on April 20, 2068 BS, his father also died due to the same reason. According to family sources, Amaiya’s 12-year-old brother is also suffering from HIV / AIDS and is taking regular medication.
