Gold prices surge to record highs in Nepal, reaching Rs 160,700 per tola

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has soared to a new record high, continuing its upward trend for the past four days.

Today (Thursday), the price increased by Rs 300, reaching Rs 160,700 per tola.

This marks the highest price ever recorded for gold in the country.

In comparison, the price of hallmark gold was Rs 160,400 per tola the previous day.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable, trading at Rs 1,955, the same price as Wednesday.
