KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan International Airport has imposed a ban on flying kites, drones, or balloons in and around the airport area.

The Civil Aviation Office at the airport issued a notice, urging the public to refrain from flying these objects and from using laser lights.

The office stated that kites, drones, balloons, and laser lights could pose serious risks to flight safety.

The notice warned that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating these instructions.
