Scooter accident in Miklajung claims life of 45-year-old, another injured

KATHMANDU: A scooter accident occurred on Thursday afternoon at the road near Sundari Chowk jungle in Miklajung Rural Municipality-6.

The scooter, with registration number State 1-02-052 Pa 4064, was heading from Kishan Chowk towards Tandi when it lost control and crashed.

The rider, identified as 45-year-old Krishna Thulung Rai from Bahundangi, Mechi Municipality-1, Jhapa, sustained critical injuries and later passed away while undergoing treatment at Madan Bhandari Trauma Center, Manglabare.

Additionally, one passenger on the scooter was also injured and is currently receiving treatment at Nobel Hospital, Biratnagar.

The police are conducting further investigations into the accident.
