CK Raut files for divorce

KATHMANDU: Chandrakant Raut, the chairman of the Janamat Party, has filed for divorce from his wife, Soni Sindhu Rani, at the Patan District Court.

Raut cited deteriorating relations with his wife as the reason for the legal action.

The divorce petition was filed on the Aug 28.

It is reported that Raut’s wife, Rani, is an Indian national.

Raut is also seeking custody of their children.
