Congress approves agreement reached by Deuba & Oli (video)

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress has approved the agreement reached with CPN-UML led by Chair KP Oli and Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Congress spokesperson Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat informed Makalu Khabar that the Congress Central Working Committee meeting held this morning endorsed the agreement with CPN-UML and decided to initiate the process of forming a coalition government.

“The agreement between Oli and Deuba was already in place. To ensure stability and economic development in the country and to form a national consensus government, even smaller parties will be included,” he stated. “Initially, under Oli’s leadership, the government will be formed, and in the second phase, Deuba will become the Prime Minister. The Central Working Committee has approved this wisdom.”
