KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has formulated six criteria for recommending ambassadors.

Under the coordination of Sovita Gautam and member Dr. Atindra Dahal of the Department of International Relations of the party, a task force has prepared the “Ambassador Recommendation Criteria 2081.”

Based on these criteria, RSP Party has called for applications for ambassadors through public notice.

After approval from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appointments will be recommended based on the eligibility order from the final list of applicants.

According to Minister Mukul Dhakal, those interested in ambassadorship can fill out an online form once the criteria are finalized.

On June 20, Prime Minister Prachanda, CPN-UML Chair Oli, Home Minister, and RSP Party President Lamichhane had held discussions regarding ambassadorial appointments.
