This morning, in the Group C match, Uruguay defeated Panama 3-1, marking a triumphant beginning to their campaign.

In Uruguay’s victory, Darwin Nuñez, Maximiliano Araujo, and Matías Viña each scored a goal.

Michael Amir Murillo scored the lone goal for Panama.

The match took place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Florida, USA.

Maximiliano Araujo provided Uruguay with an early lead just 16 minutes into the game.

Following that, Darwin Nuñez scored in the 85th minute, extending Uruguay’s lead to 2-0.

Matías Viña added another goal in the first minute of injury time, securing Uruguay’s 3-0 advantage.

Despite Michael Amir Murillo’s goal in the fourth minute of injury time, Panama couldn’t turn the game around, resulting in Uruguay’s victory with three points added to their tally.
