KATHMANDU: The Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Sudurpaschim State Police Office Dhangadhi Rabindra KC has awarded two policemen who played an important role in the rescue of mules in Achham.

Upon reaching Achham, DIG K.C. awarded Police Assistant Inspector Ram Singh Faral and Police Constable Gangaram Chaudhary with cash prizes.

The State Police Office decided to honor both officers for their courageous role in rescuing mules trapped at the suspension bridge over the Karnali River in Ward No. 9 of Panchadewal Municipality.

During the award distribution ceremony, DIG K.C. commended the brave actions of both officers, stating that they were recognized for their valorous deeds, along with the cash prizes, as recorded in the archives.

He expressed gratitude for their dedication to duty and bravery, presenting them as examples of police professionalism and courage.

In the rescue of mules, Police Assistant Inspector Ram Singh Faral and Police Constable Gangaram Chaudhary completed the rescue work in risky conditions.

Their contributions were acknowledged and respected by the police office, which awarded them with cash prizes.
