Over the past few days, temperatures have soared across the nation, affecting daily life.

Residents of Kathmandu are particularly feeling the impact of the heat, with temperatures remaining high even during the night.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has indicated the possibility of hot weather prevailing until at least June 20.

The department has warned of the possibility of heatwaves and hot winds, urging people to take necessary precautions and stay alert to mitigate its effects.

Meteorologist Saroj Pudasaini from the Weather Forecasting Division has informed about the likelihood of extremely high temperatures in some places of the Terai region of Sudurpashchim and Lumbini States if the monsoon continues to remain inactive.
