KATHMANDU: Nepal’s national cricket team captain, Rohit Paudel, has expressed his intention to secure a victory against South Africa.

Speaking at a press conference held before the match against South Africa, Captain Paudel conveyed his team’s determination.

Paudel mentioned that in order to qualify for the Super Eight, Nepal needs to win both matches against South Africa and Bangladesh.

He expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming game against South Africa, noting that the return of Sandeep Lamichhane has strengthened Nepal’s bowling unit.

“We are all excited. Although South Africa has good skills, we will play our best game. It is not impossible to defeat them,” Paudel stated. “To beat a test-playing nation, it takes more than just the performance of one or two players. Every player needs to play as a team.”

Nepal is set to face South Africa under Group D at 5:15 AM tomorrow.

The match will take place at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Saint Vincent, West Indies.
