Muktinath Bank provides support for school building construction in Bajhang

KATHMANDU: Muktinath Bikas Bank Ltd. extended support for the reconstruction of Shree Bhawani Basic School, located in Thalara Rural Municipality Ward No. 9 of Bajhang district, which was affected by the earthquake that struck on 3 October, 2023, at the center point of Bajhang.

Collaborating with the Nepal Red Cross Society, Kathmandu District, the bank provided financial assistance for the reconstruction of the school building.

Recently, with collaborative efforts between the Nepal Red Cross Society, Kathmandu District, and the local community, the construction of the aforementioned building has been completed.

In a ceremony held amidst the completion of the construction work, the school has been handed over.

Notably, parents and local residents also contributed their labor for the construction work.

Thanks to these collaborations, Muktinath Bikas Bank believes that students will now be able to study comfortably in the newly constructed building, ensuring safety from natural elements such as sun and rain. It is expected that students will now be able to carry out their daily studies in a conducive environment, with confidence in the availability of amenities like shelter and water.”
