KATHMANDU: Muktinath Bikas Bank Ltd., under its social responsibility initiative, has contributed to environmental balance and the fight against climate change through its greenery campaign.

The bank planted approximately 250 lemon trees in Ward 07 and Patenagi Ward 01 of Ilam Municipality in Ilam District, and 100 lemon trees in Kisannagar Ward 06 of Bardibas Municipality in Mahottari District.

The bank organized this program to promote greenery.

The event saw the participation of bank employees, campaigners, and local residents.

Additionally, to promote digital transactions, the bank has arranged for customers to withdraw money for free from any ATM associated with other banks within Nepal using its own ATM card.

Furthermore, services such as mobile banking, QR code payments, online loan applications, online account opening, internet banking, direct remittance deposits into accounts, and missed call banking (for savings services: 9801110022, for loan services: 9801110023) are available for customers to access from home without needing to visit the bank branches physically.
