KKR storm into IPL final, defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets

KATHMANDU: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have secured a spot in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in the first qualifier held on Tuesday night.

Chasing Hyderabad’s target of 160 runs, Kolkata reached the final with two wickets lost in just 13.4 overs.

With Kolkata qualifying for the final, Hyderabad, despite their loss, will have another chance to compete for a spot in the final.

On Wednesday, in the eliminator match, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals will battle it out.
